Marketing Coordinator
Sacks Tierney P.A.

Lauren Barlow is the Marketing Coordinator at Sacks Tierney P.A., a 39-attorney firm in Scottsdale, Ariz. She works closely with the Firm's Managing Partner and Executive Director and helps implement various business development initiatives. Lauren has been a member of LMA since June 2016 and is currently on the LMA Southwest Planning Committee for the upcoming Conference in Denver. She is also helping plan an October LMA happy hour for legal markers in Arizona.

Lauren got started in legal marketing in 2016 after being the Director of Marketing at two Regional Magazines. Lauren has her Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2012.

"The legal industry is definitely different from the media industry, but marketing is marketing. I am able to use the skills I have learned in my marketing career thus far and implement them at my Firm. My background in writing, photography and graphic design has come in handy too. I am able to get creative and bring a fresh viewpoint to different legal marketing elements," says Lauren.

When asked what she loves most about working with lawyers, Lauren says, "I really enjoy helping attorneys bring their ideas to life– from PowerPoints to RFPs to networking events to advertisements.” She also enjoys learning from them. “My Firm is full-service and all of the attorneys have such unique backgrounds and skill sets. I am constantly learning from them and they make me a better marketing professional at the end of the day.”

"I am also thankful I was able to join LMA. It has been a useful tool in my transition into legal marketing and I continue to learn so much from fellow members, programs and speakers,” says Lauren.
